Imago therapy was originally developed by Harville Hendrix and Helen La Kelly Hunt based on their experience of working with relationships, including their own marriage. Their first book “Getting the Love You Want – A Guide for Couples” has frequently been on the New York Times best seller list since first published in 1988. Imago focuses on building trust in relationship by teaching some powerfully effective, common-sense communication skills which can very quickly create a feeling of safety.

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is a psychotherapeutic approach that is used to resolve symptoms resulting from upsetting and unresolved life experiences. It uses a structured approach to address past, present, and future aspects of disturbing emotions and memories.

Bonding Psychotherapy is a therapy process that has been shown to be highly effective for people who are coping with current challenges in their lives based on their lack of secure attachment in early childhood (adapted from www.bondingpsychotherapy.com).

Linda has expertise in working with clients who have attended the Caron Foundation for 5-day co-dependency treatment.  She has trained at Caron over her professional career and can help clients integrate and continue their Caron experience into their out-patient therapy and day-to-day lives.
